Whistler – Phase Two Properties
Phase Two properties are hotel properties, and they zoned for nightly rental. There is only one owner on title, but owner usage is limited to 28 days in the winter and 28 days in the summer. Besides these allotted owner times, all units must be available for nightly rental to the public. Terms specifying how and when owners may use their basic allotment are detailed in the covenants. Every unit in the property must be rented through the Hotel’s front desk. Owner-direct rentals, or rentals through an exterior rental management company are not allowed. This provides for the orderly and assured management of reservations and use of units by the public and unit owners.
Examples of Phase Two properties:
The Westin, The Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre, The Pan Pacific Mountainside, The Delta Whistler Village Suites, The Pinnacle International Hotel, The Four Seasons, The Blackcomb Springs, and The Cascade Lodge.
